Yes, I know I am a bit late with my salutations, but I am a “better late than never person”.  I am not sure why I am so late, but I know that I have not even had time to write a web post to wish everyone reading this HAPPY HOLIDAYS!  

For everyone that enjoys this website, I want you all to know that it was built and maintained by Russ S. out of kindness, generosity, possibly stupidity and his desire to get Paula’s Sports Cards, Etc. into the 21st century’s mode of communication.  Because of the website, I have been blessed with many customers and visitors who have followed us here on the website and decided to take side trips here while on vacation.  Russ also set up the twitter account and Face book fan page that many of you enjoy.  I just want you and everyone else to know that I truly appreciate all that you have done for me.  

I would really appreciate it if some of you would hit him up on twitter (ParkRat) or post something on our face book page to thank him for all his efforts.  I want to thank you with a couple of cool cards that I have for you – pictures attached.  I will drop them off very soon,  hopefully tomorrow.  They are a small gift of thanks, to show my appreciation for all you do!   🙂  Merry Christmas Russ!!!

Hey All!

Wow, were does all the time go?!  Yes, I still have lots of scans to post but have needed to do this follow up story first.  Remember my last hot pulls post for Thursday, Dec. 2ND?  Kidd Logo man, Miami Tag-man, Bird, Erving, John Wall & Randy Couture autos……..Well, Dec. 2ND, may as well have been the HOTTEST day ever for Aaron and  his fiancee Amanda.  Aaron and Amanda are both UH Medical Students who are going through rotations at Queen’s.  Free time is a very short commodity for them, but they were “lucky” to have worked so much that they had a free night off together.  They decided to spend some of their free time doing one of Aaron’s favorite pastimes – busting packs.  They really did not know what to open but knew that they wanted product that they could pull something huge – AND THEY DID!  They purchased two 09/10 UD Draft Bskt, one Greats of the Game, and one UD regular hobby.  They pulled:

Greats of the Game Michael Jordan / Bill Russell dual auto

Both the Randy Coutour and Kobe Draft Alumni’s came out of the same box!  BTW, for those who shop here, it was the open box on the pack shelf that I could not sell for two months.  The one and only Greats of the Game box yielded the Michael Jordan & Bill Russell redemption.  They only struck out on the Upper Deck Hobby box and other UD Draft. They got all this great stuff out of only four boxes and batted .500 (.750 if you count it as 3 hits in 4 boxes).  Again the store seemed even hotter as it really was a slow sales day.  I am just happy it was a REALLY HOT ONE!!!
