VANGUARD CONSTRUCTED TOURNAMENTS EVERY THURSDAY 4:30PM 2 PACKS ANTED / PLAYER $5.00. Free Cardfight Vol. 4 pack to every participant.

FNM Feb. 1, 3:45pm GateCrash Sealed $25 & 6:30pm GateCrash Sealed Deck $25 (I think there is a “Release” Promo for both FNM events if there is no promo events will be $23.00).

SAT. Feb. 2, ALL DAY GATECRASH DRAFTS STARTING AT 10am, and likely around 12:30pm & 3pm.  If 8 players are available at anytime we will start another draft.  1 1/2 pk ante per player.  Entry Fee $15 per draft.  Starting early to beat the Punahou Carnival crowd to the street parking.  Please do not park in the lot.            

 

FNM Feb. 8, 3:45PM Gatecrash Booster DRAFT $13 &  6:15pm Gatecrash Booster DRAFT

SAT. Feb. 9, 11:30AM GATECRASH SEALED (1 1/2 PK ANTE) $25 & 2PM GATECRASH BOOSTER DRAFT. 1 1/2 pk ante per player.  Entry Fee $15 per draft.   

 

Sat. Feb. 9, 1pm Love is in the Air!  Sealed deck $28.00 special themed mat awarded to event winner and one randomly.  Special promo cards given to all.

 

Store closed Feb. 15th and 16th.  Making arrangements for alternate dates and or venues for WOW and Vanguard events.

 

Wed. Feb. 20, 5pm World of Warcraft  Betrayal of the Guardian Sneak Peak.  Sealed Deck $25.00.  Special Event Promos and Battleground Tokens given to all participants.  *Date and time of this event could be changed.

 

FNM Feb. 22, 4pm RTR BLOCK CONSTRUCTED $5.00 & 6:15pm GateCrash Sealed $23 

 

EVENT CHANGE: Sat. Feb. 23, 12pm noon Gatecrash Game Day.  Standard Constructed.  Cut to top 2 , 4 or 8.  Depending on # of participants. Zameck Guildmage full art promo to all players. Top 8 players get a foil Firemane Avenger full art promo. Winner gets a special Gatecrash playmat. Entry fee $10.00.

JANUARY 22ND TUES. STORE CLOSING AT 4PM!!! IT’S MY GRANDMOTHER NAKATA’S 94TH B-DAY!

Hello All!

Today is Tues. Jan. 22.  It is my Grandmother’s 94Th birthday.  In honor of her, we are having a b-day party at my house today at 5:30pm.  I volunteered my house at Christmas and the event was never confirmed.  My sister-in -law called at 11:50am this morning, “to ask if she could bring something”.  I was thinking for what?!  I was in a bit of shock, but decided to have the party anyway.  I have been planning it here from the store for the last 3 hours.  Luckily, my grandmother (Dorothy Nakata) wanted Chinese
food.  My friend David Tang, from New Mui Kwai, Kaneohe, is catering my party on very short notice – 2 hours!  THANK YOU DAVID!!!  I am very sorry for the short notice but I will be closing early today at 4pm to get ready for the party.  I am really sorry again.

Bronson from Pauoa – Your Pro Bowl Stuff is here!

Hello All!

 

I hope you all are having a great Martin Luther King holiday.  I need some help. I ordered someone named Bronson some Pro Bowl Helmets.  I thought I had his phone number but I do not.  I am posting this in hopes that he sees this or if any of you happen to know him please tell him his helmets are in.  I think Bronson lives in Pauoa and went to Stevenson and Roosevelt.  I hope someone can help me contact him.  Let’s see if this social media stuff works. 

 

I do have a few extra mini helmets but I want to fill his order first.  Thank you very much and have a great day!

Saturday Jan. 19, GPT Charlotte 11:30am RETURN TO RAVNICA SEALED DECK.  If there is a cut to top 4 or 8 same sealed deck will be used. 24k sanctioned event, 2pks anted per player.  Entry fee $27. Event judged by Jeff Lee.  Holding this event for Kevin Massey.  He will be going to GP Charlotte. 

Sat. Jan. 19,  12:30pm World of Warcraft Core Realm Qualifier.  Core constructed $10 entry.  Deck boxes and promos to all participants.  WOW booster packs to top finishers.

WITH RETURN TO RAVNICA WIZARDS STARTED DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH IT’S PRE-RELEASE AND IT WILL CONTINUE WITH GATECRASH. THERE WILL BE 5 DIFFERENT ”GUILDS” WITH 5 DIFFERENT PROMOS AND DICE (ONE FOR EACH GUILD). YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE PROMO IN YOUR MATCH. WE WILL BE GIVEN EVEN AMOUNTS FOR EACH GUILD SO IF YOU ARE A COLLECTOR AND WANT TO ENSURE THAT YOU GET ONE OF EACH, PRE-REGISTER FOR ALL 6 EVENTS $130 AND I WILL MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL 5 PRE-RELEASE GUILDS. Two (2) packs ante per event participant entry fee $24. OK to park in Makiki Shopping Village Parking Lot until 4:30am. Event capped at 3 rounds. Can’t stay awake? You can enter late, however, you will take the appropriate match losses. You can drop anytime JUST PLEASE LET US KNOW. Please let us know if you register at the start of event and do not intend to stay or play.

SUNDAY JAN.27, 11AM $21, SUN 2:30PM $21 & SUN 5:30PM $22.  ALL EVENTS ARE SEALED DECK.
We are now allowed to have THREE Pre-Release events per day but no side events.  Pre-register and pre-pay for ANY OR ALL EVENTS to reserve your packs and promo – even if you can’t make it.  Great way to get extra promos and early GATECRASH Boosters Packs.  
During day events Saturday and Sunday, tournament players must find street parking for the duration of the event.  If you are unsure of where to park, please come early and ask Keith or Paula for assistance.  Please let us know at registration (check in) if you do not intend to stay or play.

RTR DRAFT ANYONE? RETURN TO RAVNICA DRAFT DEC. 29TH 2PM.

Hello Again!

 

Anyone for a last minute RTR draft?  Had a few requests and Commander turnout was poor and these guys just want to play……….I know this is very late notice, but I will happily put on an event if you want to come out and play.  I have set it up as a RTR draft.  However, if we do not get enough player turnout we will change it to RTR
sealed deck.  

 

SAT. DEC 29, 2PM Return to Ravnica Draft $15.00 (2PK ANTE PER PLAYER).  If event is changed to RTR sealed it will be $20.00 (1pk ante).

WELCOME BACK CRYPTOZOIC REPRESENTATIVE MATT DUNN!

Hi All!

 

What a great surprise was waiting at my store today – it was Matt Dunn!  Matt is the Cryptozoic Representative who is back to visit family and generously offered to host a holiday event for the islands’ World of Warcraft players.  I had no idea it was going to be Matt.  I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to see a local face successfully working in the national gaming scene.  Congrats Matt!  Matt should be here from at least noon – 3pm if you want to stop by and say hi.  Thank you very much to Cryptozoic and Matt Dunn for allowing us to host this event.  Take care all and I am wishing you all a very Happy New Year!
