FNM AND MTG EVENT CHANGES.

Hey All!

Remember Spencer Yarnell and Erin Gringer?  They were avid and loyal MTG players.  They got married awhile ago and had a baby last year.  Child care and work schedules have made it hard to come by and play MTG.  Spencer, has an opportunity to play FNM, March 22ND.  He does not have any current cards, so I am switching the
events for the next 2 FNM’s as he needs to play limited type events.  Sorry for the possible confusion and or trouble.  Looking forward to seeing you Spencer!     MTG info changes below:

I am so sorry, but I have to cancel today’s WOW event because I totally forgot to order the sneak peak kit.  I figured out this date but did not let my rep from Cryptozoic know.  So my kit was never sent out.  Thanks to Galen for following up with me on the event.  Will try to ask my Rep. for the event promos and pass them out at a later event.  Since the new set will be out on Friday 2/22, I’ll post a new sealed event to take today’s events place.  Info is

CLOSING EARLY 2/19/2013 FOR 6PM FUNERAL FOR AUNTY MARLENE SASAKI.

Hi All!

 
This will be a very sad post.  Keith and I need to attend a funeral that starts at 6pm today, Tuesday February 19Th.  My Aunty Marlene Sasaki passed away last month.  She is the oldest daughter of my Grandmother Nakata.  My Aunt Marlene was a vibrant, sharp, fun loving and energetic woman who I will miss tremendously.  Many of you from the MPI family would likely have known her, as she was the president’s secretary.  Her death was sudden and very unexpected so I am still very much stunned.  I was lucky to have had her presence in my life. 

 

I will be closing early today around 5pm to attend her 6pm funeral at Hosoi.  Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

Well, I have a request from MTG player Warren Ikemura to please try to hold the San Diego GPT.  He is already planning to attend the San Diego Grand Prix event and I would love to help him and anyone else out.  I hope we can get enough players (8) to hold and sanction the event on this very short notice.  I Thank you all very much for all the MTG tournament support!  BTW, Feb. Feb. 23rd San Diego GPT event preempted by GATECRASH Gameday!

Hi All MTG players!

 

It has been brought to my attention that Gatecrash Gameday is the same day as our San Diego GPT.  Gameday is usually a month after release of the new set, however, Wizards has changed it up on this one.  Not sure if we will be able to reschedule our GPT as there is a PTQ March 2ND and I do not want to conflict with it.  I would be willing to have the GPT on a Friday or
any other weekday if players still want it.  Looking for input from players as to what to do with GPT San Diego.  Please call me with any thoughts or ideas.  Thank you,    Paula
