Hi All!
This will be a very sad and messy post. I have lots of stuff to cover. First of all, Keith and I need to attend a funeral that starts at 4:30pm Sat. Oct. 27Th. June Suyat Terauchi wife of friend & regular Keith Suyat Terauchi, passed away Oct. 13, 2012. It was sudden and unexpected as June was only 42 years old. June’s service will be nearby at the Japanese temple next to McDonald’s on Keeamoku St.. If friends and regulars of the store want to attend, extra parking for the temple is the ground floor of the HMSA building (entrance in the back on Sheridan St.) I plan to leave at 4pm and return around 6pm and stay open until
7pm.
With this in mind, if the MTG and for sure the WOW event are still undecided, we will allow them to continue in our game room and score them once we return. Hopefully, we will have a volunteer to run and finish the events if we do not return in time.
I also need to change our Saturday MTG event to Standard Constructed for RTR Gameday. Sorry, I thought it was next week until I opened my deliveries and found that the RTR Event decks had arrived. Players if you ever noticed that I am missing an event that is date specific like MTG Gameday please let me know so that I can add it to the event calendar. I have been so busy with other stuff (mostly Real Estate) that I do not have much time to keep up with gaming stuff. I need and appreciate everyone’s help with gaming. If I ever feel like I can’t do it, I will have to someday give up the game room. Then I will only hold smaller events in the main store for FNM and
rotate different single gaming events on Sat.. Well, who knows maybe we can add different weekly weekday events for other stuff if that ever happens. Due to the funeral, we will only have one MTG event for Sat. and will move the 2 headed giant sealed event to another Sat. in the future.
As for World of Warcraft, Galen requested a time change to 2:30pm for the event and I forgot to check with Jeff M. who usually works Sat. pm. I changed the event to 2pm and just ask all players to show up ASAP and hopefully we can accommodate all of you. Event could still start as late as 2:30pm. If possible could all players who plan to play in the World of Warcraft – War of the Ancients Sealed Deck event, please call Paula at 533-4886 to notify you are planning to play by 1:45pm Sat. so we can plan accordingly.

Sat. Oct. 27, 12pm noon Return to Ravnica Game Day. Standard Constructed. Cut to top 2 , 4 or 8. Depending on # of participants. Dryad Militant full art promo to all players. Top 8 players get a foil RTR Archon of the Triumvirate full art promo. Winner gets a
special RTR playmat. Entry fee $10.00.
Sat. Oct. 27, 2pm World of Warcraft War of the Ancients Sealed Deck $25.00. Playmat to winner. Special Promos and Battleground Tokens given to all participants.
**All FNM events capped at three 40 minute rounds. 4pm FNM event rounds can be shortened to accomodate the 6pm FNM start time. FNM Start times vary. Please read start times carefully***
Minimum 8 players for MTG events to be DCI sanctioned.
4 players minimum for WOW events and Yugioh events.
The dates, times, and events of all tournaments are subject to change. Cash only for tournaments. Store does accept debit & credit cards for store purchases.
