Hello All!

 

I just want to thank all the players who came out to play in this past Saturday’s Gatecrash PTQ.  We had 56 participants.  In the end, Ryan Harada scooped to Nicholas Miller.  Once we got started the event ran really smoothly.  Only one round (5TH) went to turns and the whole event finished before 3am. 

 

Many of the “old” time MTG players (that now have real jobs) could play because it was a night event.  I want to thank Jason Galut, Carden Tengan, Song Lee, Marshall Sakaguchi, Warren Ikemura and Kris Lohman for coming out to play.  It was really nice to see many of  the gamers who played when I first started running events way back in the 90’s.  Wow, where has all the time gone…………Such great memories.  I am sure when I look back, in the future this weekend will be one of those great “shake your head” memories for me.  Thank you very much to everyone who played and helped.     

   

I want to send special thanks to Ralph “Phil” McLaury (head judge), Jason and “Art” for judging and running such a smooth event.  Thank you to also to Bruce, Gorden and Jeff Lee for helping with various odds and ends throughout the event.  I know that the event was at an odd time for many of you but I hope you enjoyed it anyway.  Thank you very much again!  Below are names and rank of the top 16:
