KURT SHIMAMOTO IS IN TROUBLE!!!  See that cute happy little girl?  That is MY PAL Jamie.  Yesterday, March 24Th, was Jamie’s birthday – she is now 9.  Kurt, being the great father that he is, asked Jamie what she wanted to do for her birthday.  Jamie’s birthday wish was to, “go to Paula’s to open packs”.  At that point Kurt knew he was in trouble…….You know, when your 9 year old daughter’s wish is to open packs, that is trouble.  Kurt, trying to nip things in the bud, asked Jamie, “if she would rather open packs? Or that he would just buy a Kobe autograph out of the showcase for her gift if she wanted one”.  Jamie chose to STILL open packs………Jamie opened 10 packs of Studio and 3 packs of Certified and guess who she pulled?  Yep, my happy little pal pulled her own Kobe autograph jersey!!!  Jamie also pulled 1 auto & 4 jerseys out of her 10 packs of Studio.  You know, I personally think Kurt is now screwed (sorry to all the minors reading this), but you should have been here.  To experience all the pure surprise, happiness and joy, was just priceless.  I have been a hobby store owner for 20 years.  These kind of special days are the reason – I have the best job in the world!  Dear Jamie and Kurt, thank you very much for making my day too!  Happy Birthday Again Jamie!  Love and smiles,  🙂 Paula
